10 Don'ts That Might Just Lessen Your Gas Problems

1. Don't try to make yourself belch.
2. Don't gulp air with your food; eat slowly.
3. Don't wash your food down with liquid; take small sips.
4. Don't drink soda pop, beer, and other carbonated beverages.
5. Don't take fizzy indigestion remedies or bicarbonate of soda.
6. Don't chew gum or suck on hard candy.
7. Don't drink from beverage cans or bottles, or with straws.
8. Don't smoke cigarettes, or especially pipes.
9. Don't become anxious about belching.
10. Don't forget that belching alone rarely indicates serious disease.
